Web design works remotely too — but some things get sorted faster at a table than across ten emails. As a web designer based in Stuttgart, I’m available for in-person meetings on short notice: for the initial conversation, for reviewing the design, or for handover. What does it cost to have a website built, and how long does it take?

That depends on the project: scope, number of pages and features such as contact forms, galleries or multiple languages determine the effort. That’s why I don’t quote flat prices out of thin air — after a free initial conversation, you get a fixed-price offer, so you know exactly what your website will cost before the project even starts. Timing also depends on scope and how quickly content and feedback come in. You’ll get a binding timeline with the offer.

Why no page builder? Wix and similar tools seem simpler.

Page builders come together quickly — but you pay with compromises: interchangeable templates, technical overhead that slows load times, and limits the moment you need something custom. I build your website from the ground up myself. That means lean code, a design that fits exactly, and a site that can grow with your requirements instead of hitting a platform’s ceiling.

Does the website work on mobile too?

Yes — and not as an afterthought. I build responsive from the start: layout, navigation and images adapt to every screen size. Before launch, I test the website across multiple devices, so it holds up on a phone just as well as on desktop.

What does GDPR-friendly actually mean in practice?

Your website runs without tracking cookies, fonts are hosted locally instead of loaded from external servers, and no data flows to third parties that have no business receiving it. That reduces legal exposure and saves your visitors an annoying cookie banner. It doesn’t replace legal advice — but the technical foundation is solid.

What does “low-barrier” actually mean here?

That as many people as possible can use your website without trouble — including people with visual impairments or motor limitations. That includes clear structure, sufficient contrast, and a built-in accessibility panel that lets visitors adjust things like font size and contrast themselves. And who takes care of the site after launch?

At handover, you get a clear walkthrough and full access — the website belongs to you. If you need changes, new content or further development later, I remain your point of contact: the same person who built your website and knows every detail of it.
