Fully booked. Empty website?
Your website should make people hungry.
Get in touch — no strings attachedWhether someone books a table with you is usually decided on a phone: right before heading out, they search for a restaurant nearby, skim the menu, glance at the photos. Find an unreadable PDF menu or outdated hours, and they eat somewhere else. Your website is the shop window for your kitchen — and it has only a few seconds to make its case.
I build websites for restaurants, cafés, bars and caterers in Stuttgart and the region between Esslingen, Ludwigsburg and Böblingen — individually coded, not from a page builder. The focus is on what actually earns your business money: a menu you keep current yourself, reservation requests that come through even during the dinner rush, photos that build appetite, and, on request, dedicated pages for lunch specials, events or catering.
Then there’s what you don’t see right away: fast load times even on mobile networks, low-barrier usability with a built-in accessibility panel, and GDPR-friendly technology with no tracking cookies. I’ve been doing exactly this since 2016 — design that won’t stay quiet, and technology that simply works.
Sound familiar?
- The menu is a photographed PDF on the website — unreadable on mobile and out of date since your last price change.
- Opening hours on Google, the website and social media all contradict each other, and guests show up to a locked door on your day off.
- Reservations only come in by phone, which nobody can pick up during a full dinner service.
- The old page-builder site looks broken on a phone — right where nearly all your guests are searching.
What your new website will do
- You maintain your own menu: weekly specials and prices are updated in minutes, with no call to an agency.
- Guests find the menu, hours and directions on mobile in seconds — the site loads fast, even on a mobile network on a busy Saturday night.
- Reservation requests come in around the clock, even when nobody on the floor can get to the phone.
- Your kitchen is shown the way it tastes: with photos and text that build appetite instead of just informing.
Frequently asked questions
What does a website for my restaurant or café cost?
That depends on scope: number of pages, features like reservation integration or a multilingual menu, and the effort for text and images. After a free initial conversation, you get a binding fixed price from me — no hidden items.
Can I update the menu and daily specials myself?
Yes — that’s the most important feature for a hospitality website. You maintain the menu, prices and weekly specials yourself, with no coding knowledge and no waiting on anyone.
Do I need a reservation system, or is a form enough?
That depends on your business. For many places, a good reservation request form with a clear confirmation is enough; with higher volume, I integrate an existing reservation system or build a lean, time-slot-based booking flow directly on the site. I’ll advise you honestly instead of selling you the most expensive tool.
Does the website help with ranking better on Google too?
It lays the foundation for it: fast load times, clean structure, accurate hours and location details, and a link to your Google Business Profile. I won’t promise miracles — but you’ll get a website that doesn’t give anything away technically.
