A fine vintage. Website still in the barrel?
Fine vintage. Flat online presence?
Get in touch — no strings attachedFine vintage. Flat online presence? A winery runs on cellar-door sales, tastings in the vaulted cellar, the regular who picks up their case of red every year, and shipping to those who live farther away. Your website needs to reflect exactly these paths, or it isn’t doing its job. Anyone who tasted your Riesling at a wine tavern and googles the name that evening should be able to see, within two clicks, which vineyards you work, when the cellar door is open, and how to book a tasting for eight people.
Your customers search on their phone today, often from the couch or on the go along the wine route. Find a site that falls apart on a phone, shows 2019 hours, or hides the current price list only as a PDF, and they’re gone. A good winery website answers the three questions that actually matter: what can I drink here, when can I get the wine, and does this fit me? I build exactly that for you — individually, with no page builder, with images that show the steep-slope vineyard and cellar instead of stock photos. One steady point of contact from the first sketch to the final polish.
Sound familiar?
-
The price list is stuck as an outdated PDF. New vintage bottled, range changed, but online it still shows the 2021 at the old price. Who’s maintaining that, and how fast?
-
Unusable on a phone. The site was built on a computer years ago. On mobile you have to zoom and scroll, the map to the estate doesn’t load, and there’s no call button. That’s exactly where the visit gets decided.
-
Tastings and cellar-door sales are hidden. Groups want to book a tasting but find no information on how it works, group size, or how to inquire. Instead of a booking, at best there’s a call that never comes.
-
Not findable on Google. Search “winery Stuttgart cellar door” and merchants and comparison portals show up — not you, even though your vines are right outside.
What your new website will do
-
Your range and vineyards presented clearly. Every wine with grape variety, vintage, tasting notes and vineyard, so visitors know beforehand what’s in the glass, and come to the cellar door with intent.
-
Tastings and cellar-door sales as a booking request. Hours, how it works, and a simple inquiry form for groups, turning interest into an appointment in your calendar.
-
Just as good on a phone as on a computer. Fast-loading, with a large call button, a map and directions to the winery, even where the steep-slope vineyard has weak signal.
-
Get found in Stuttgart and the region. Cleanly built for search, so you appear for searches like winery, cellar-door sales and wine tasting in your area.
Frequently asked questions
Can I maintain new vintages and prices myself?
Yes. The site is set up so you can change wines, prices, hours and tasting dates yourself. When a new vintage is bottled, you swap it in within minutes, with no need to call me every time.
Do I need an online shop, or is the website enough?
For most wineries, it’s enough to present your range and vineyards clearly and handle orders through an inquiry form or by phone — especially for wines that benefit from a personal conversation. I focus your website on getting found and generating inquiries and visits. I deliberately don’t build a full shipping shop with payment — that’s its own, specialized topic.
What does a website for my winery cost?
That depends on scope: a site showing your range, cellar-door sales and tastings is priced differently than one with a shipping shop. I’ll look at what you need and give you a fixed price upfront. No hidden items, no ongoing license fees for a page builder.
Can you also take the photos of the vineyard and cellar?
Good photos of your vineyards, the cellar and the bottles make all the difference on a winery site. If you already have material, we’ll use it. If not, we’ll discuss how to get genuine, fitting shots instead of falling back on generic stock photos.
How long until the site is live?
That depends on scope and how quickly content like text and photos come together. Once the material is ready, things move quickly. Throughout, you have one steady point of contact who always knows where your project stands.
