Fresh energy in the business. Website still from the previous owner? You've taken over an established business or are about to: a trade, a practice, a law firm, an auto shop, a restaurant, or a family business in Stuttgart and the region. The name carries weight, regulars have known the place for years, and that's exactly your capital. At the same time, you don't want to inherit a website that still looks like it did at your predecessor's opening.

Business runs on two things: the people who already know you, and the people who google you before calling. Regulars check after the handover whether everything's still right with you. New customers search for business plus location, land on the website, and decide within seconds whether this is the right place. Both need to see: the good name stays, but someone new has taken the helm here who knows what they're doing.

That's exactly the balance I build into the site. Continuity where it builds trust, and a visible fresh start where it's overdue. As a freelance media designer from Stuttgart, I've been your steady point of contact since 2016, with no agency loop. The website is built individually, with no page builder, loads fast, works on a phone just as well as at a desk, is low-barrier thanks to an accessibility panel, and GDPR-friendly because I avoid tracking cookies and embed fonts locally.

What your new website will do

Frequently asked questions

Should the well-known name or my name as the new owner be in the foreground?

In most cases, both, weighted wisely. The established business name stays visible, because it carries trust and search rankings with it. You, as the new leadership, get a face and a short story, so it's clear who's responsible now. We work out the exact balance for your specific case.

What happens to the old website and its Google rankings?

Existing visibility is valuable and won't just get thrown away. If possible, we carry over the existing address and set up clean redirects, so you don't start from zero on Google. That requires access to the domain and ideally the old content.

I no longer have access to the old site or domain. Is it still possible?

Yes. That's common with takeovers and solvable. We look together at what exists, obtain missing access where possible, and if in doubt set everything up cleanly and new, with no need to wait on answers from the predecessor.

What does a new website for my acquired business cost?

That depends on scope: how many pages, how much existing material, whether text and images need to be created fresh. Flat numbers would be dishonest before I know your business. After a short conversation, you get a concrete, understandable offer with no hidden items.

How much time does this cost me alongside day-to-day business?

Deliberately little. As your steady point of contact, I take the implementation off your hands. What I mainly need from you is your expertise about the business and a short round of approvals. I prepare the text and structure so you're not sitting in front of a blank page yourself.
