Best produce. Website from the day before?
Best produce, straight from the farm. Can't find it online?
Get in touch — no strings attachedYour produce sells itself at the counter: fresh eggs, potatoes from your own fields, sausage from home butchering, seasonal fruit and vegetables. You earn money in the farm shop, at the market stall, with the vegetable box, and through the self-serve stand or the egg vending machine by the road. The website doesn't need to replace that work, it needs to guide people to you before they end up at the discount grocer.
And here's how your customers actually search: on a phone, on the go, with questions like “farm shop Stuttgart hours”, “strawberry picking near me”, or “where can I get raw milk”. Anyone who finds no clear answer drives to the next farm instead. That's why your site needs above all three things that are reliably correct: hours (including during asparagus or strawberry season), a map with directions to the farm, and a current selection showing what's ripe and in stock right now.
I build this website individually, with no page builder, and set up so you can change the seasonal offer and hours yourself in two minutes between chores. Privacy-friendly with no tracking cookies, local fonts, low-barrier thanks to an accessibility panel, and with me as one steady point of contact who knows what you're talking about.
Sound familiar?
-
Hours and season go stale. The strawberries are done, so is the asparagus, but the website still shows last spring's offer and hours that haven't been correct in a while. Customers stand in front of a locked door and don't come back.
-
Unusable on mobile. The site was built for a screen, not a smartphone. Anyone checking the address or hours quickly from the car has to zoom and scroll and gives up in frustration before finding the way to you.
-
Invisible on Google. Type “farm shop near me” or “direct marketer Stuttgart region”, and your farm doesn't show up, because the address, product range and matching search terms aren't documented anywhere.
-
Dependent on the web person. For every new vegetable-box update or changed market time, you have to call someone, pay, and wait. So you leave the site as is, and it gets more wrong with every season.
What your new website will do
-
A current product range you maintain yourself. What's ripe right now, what's in the vending machine, what's going in this week's vegetable box, changed in minutes, with no call to me needed.
-
Hours and directions that catch the eye instantly. With a map and route to the farm, clearly readable on mobile, so walk-in and market customers find you right away.
-
Found in Stuttgart and the region. Cleanly built for local searches like “farm shop”, “pick-your-own”, or “direct marketer near me”, so new customers find their way to you.
-
Build appetite with real images. Your fields, animals and displays work stronger than any stock photo, fast-loading and good-looking on every device.
Frequently asked questions
Can we change the seasonal offer and hours ourselves?
Yes, and that's exactly what I build the site for. You maintain the product range, seasonal notes and hours yourself, with no technical knowledge and no need to call me each time. Especially during asparagus and strawberry season, when things change daily, that's essential. You'll get a short walkthrough from me too.
What does a website for a farm shop cost?
That depends on what you need: a compact site with product range, hours and directions is cheaper than one with vegetable-box ordering or many subpages. I give you a clear fixed price upfront, after we discuss what your farm actually needs online. No hidden costs, no monthly page-builder fees.
Do I need an online shop, or is an info website enough?
For most farms, a good info website is enough: product range, season, hours, directions. Selling happens at the farm, the stand, or through the box anyway. That's exactly what I build your site for, fast, self-maintainable and honest. I don't build a full shipping shop with payment, that's its own, specialized topic.
Is the website easy for our older regular customers to use?
Yes. The site is built low-barrier and comes with an accessibility panel that lets people enlarge text and adjust contrast. Especially at farm shops, part of the customer base isn't young anymore, and they should be able to read hours and directions with no effort.
Can we include photos of the farm, the fields and the animals?
Absolutely, and I recommend it. Real photos of your farm, the display and the seasonal produce build more appetite than any purchased stock photo and create trust. I prepare your photos so they load fast and look good on every device.
