People buy from faces.

Professional individual portraits of owners, executives and sole traders from Stuttgart — for your about page, Google profile and LinkedIn. Approachable, confident, in a look that fits you.

Start a project

A business portrait shows the face behind the company. On your about page, in your Google Business Profile, or on LinkedIn, that one image often decides whether someone clicks “Contact” or keeps scrolling. That’s exactly what I create individual portraits of owners, executives and sole traders for: confident, approachable, and without the stiff suit-against-a-grey-wall look.

The difference from a classic ID-style photo is intent. This isn’t about fitting into a template — it’s about making your position visible: as a point of contact, as an expert, as someone people trust with the job. I plan crop, background and gaze direction so the portrait works just as well on your website as it does as a round profile photo on Xing or LinkedIn.

When several people from one company are involved, I keep the look consistent: same visual style, same lighting, same background. That way the leadership team looks like one coherent unit on your website, not like snapshots thrown together over the years.

How your project runs

  1. STEP 1 Clarify Where It’ll Be Used

First we look at where the portrait ends up: about page, Google profile, LinkedIn, Xing or a press contact. That determines crop and format — a tall website image needs different framing than a round profile photo.

  2. STEP 2 Define the Look

We agree on how you should come across: approachable or formal, a bright or calm background, with or without a jacket. If several people are involved, we lock in the look once so all the portraits match later.

  3. STEP 3 Portrait Session

The session focuses mostly on posture and expression. I give clear direction on gaze, shoulders and hands and work with short variations, so a confident and a friendly expression are both available to choose from — even if you feel uneasy in front of a camera.

  4. STEP 4 Selection & Retouching

You choose your favorite shot, I edit it with a light touch: skin natural, eyes clear, distracting details gone — without looking smoothed over or unlike you. With several people, I keep color and light consistent across every portrait.

  5. STEP 5 Finished Crops

You get the portrait cropped for every channel: high-resolution for the website, square for the Google profile, and as a round profile photo for LinkedIn and Xing — no cropping needed on your end.

Confident business portraits don’t need a long trip. As a photographer and designer from Stuttgart, I photograph owners and sole traders right on-site — in Stuttgart itself as well as the region, from Esslingen to Ludwigsburg to Böblingen. On request, the portrait can be taken at your workplace or against a calm, neutral background.

Frequently asked questions

Is a business portrait the same as an ID-style photo?

No. An ID-style photo fits you, as a candidate, into a predefined template. A business portrait presents you, as an owner or sole trader, to the outside world — on your website, your Google profile and professional networks. I only photograph the latter; classic ID-style photos aren’t part of what I offer.

I feel uncomfortable in front of a camera. Will it still turn out well?

That’s the rule, not the exception — hardly anyone enjoys standing in front of a lens. I give concrete direction on gaze, shoulders and hands instead of just saying “act natural,” and I build in enough time. That produces a confident expression without looking staged.

Can I use the portrait for my website, Google and LinkedIn at the same time?

Yes, that’s exactly what it’s built for. I deliver the portrait already cropped for every channel: high-resolution for your website, square for your Google Business Profile, and as a round profile photo for LinkedIn and Xing. Usage rights for your own presence are included.

There are several of us in the company — will the portraits match?

Yes. I define the look once — background, lighting and visual style — and carry it through every portrait. Even if the sessions happen on different days, the leadership team ends up looking consistent on the website.

What does a business portrait cost?

That depends on whether it’s a single portrait or several people with a matching look. After a free initial conversation, you get a fixed price — no hidden items.
