How do you make sure all the portraits look consistent?

Through a fixed setup and fixed specs: everyone is photographed with the same background, the same lighting and the same crop, and every shot then gets the same edit afterward. That produces a gallery where the faces clearly belong together, instead of every image telling its own story.

What happens when new employees join later?

That’s exactly why I document the visual style. When someone new starts, I photograph them to the same specs — the new portrait slots into the existing lineup without giving away when it was taken. So you don’t have to reassemble the whole team for a reshoot.

How much time does this take from my team?
